The Nygaard Lab is always looking for intelligent and passionate individuals who are motivated to pursue dementia research. If you are interested joining the lab please read the following section below that corresponds to the capacity you wish to join the lab in.

Postdoctoral Fellows
The Nygaard lab currently has the capacity to take on additional postdoctoral fellows, many prior fellows have had competitive research funding. Post-doctoral fellow aplicants are encouraged to read UBCs PDF requirements and to email Dr. Nygaard directly at Haakon.Nygaard@ubc.ca
PhD and MSc students are able to join the lab through either the Graduate Program in Experimental Medicine or the Graduate Program in Neuroscience. These programs have different requirements, so prospective applicants are highly encouraged to read into which program would best fit their research interests.
